    Naturally, this happened over a few drinks!

  • February 2015 - April 2015

    Working on a concept

    Kitenzi was born

    The name, the brand, everything came together at this point, the concept was there and we knew what we had to do!

  • Heading into design

    May 2015 - September 2016

    Looking at how we might create the best app possible, several variations of the app took place over a 2 year period.

  • September 2016 - January 2017

    Prototype Build

    We won't get into the details, but this stage didn't quite work out. So back to the drawing board!

  • September 2016 - February 2017

    Back to the drawing board

    Several iterations had occurred, with tastes, technologies and the market changing rapidly. We had to make ourselves different and new! A lot had come out of the first design and prototyping stages.

  • February 2017 - April 2017

    Sustainability Planning

    Having an app is one thing, but we needed to devise a plan around how it could make money with minimal end-user intervention.

  • April 2017 - Present

    Funding and Marketing

    We are now at the point where we need to look into seeking external funding. This is far bigger than we could have imagined! We're also in the process of finding some new marketing individuals to join the project and better our approach to getting the company out there.
